Dam removal process ongoing in Ipswich is almost identical to what happened in Durham NH in 2022: Town council vote followed by referendum w/ lots of heated debate. Will be interesting to see results. @PIE_LTER via @BostonGlobe

@elonmusk Who on earth would want live on mars? Everything engineered, no nature. Engineering will always fail. Nature regenerates. Nature Provides us ecosystem services for free (like oxygen, h2o)

This story needs more comprehensive analysis. How much fossil fuel reduction due to EVs and solar panels being producted? Still booming data centers (and bitcoin mining) seems like a problem that will only get worse with more AI.
