Jessie Davies, longtime locker room attendant at Crestview Country Club, passed away this week. His treatment of PGA TOUR players was legendary and one of the reasons that players loved coming to Wichita. He will be missed and remembered fondly by all associated with our event.

Last night at the annual tour meetings, the Wichita Open was named the 2019
@KornFerryTour
Tournament of the year! We are so proud to receive this prestigious award! It wouldn't be possible without all of the support from the great city of Wichita! Thank you!

Originally set for June 15 - 21, our event will now be held September 21 - 27 . We hope the new date will allow the tournament to continue its legacy as one of the most anticipated events in Wichita and fulfill its mission of supporting local charities!

Early this morning we learned of the passing of Don Hall, a very dear friend of the Wichita Open. We send our deepest condolences to his wife, children, and his grandkids. Very rarely did you talk to Don and he not mention them. Today is a tough day!
