Reusing the Bay county sheriff’s photo. While you won’t be able to see the rip like this from the shore there are thing you can spot. SPOTTING A RIP CURRENT 1. The U in the sand ( red line on beach ) this U happen from sand being displaced thanks to onshore flow of the water.

The Baron 3K model run for Sunday is UGLY for the south. This is just one possible solution to what could happen. It paints a picture of several long tracks and violent tornadoes across the Southeast. EVERYONE in the South needs to be weather aware Sunday and Sunday Night.

@jpetramala tropical is a warm core meaning it gets its energy from the warm water and surface. This is a cold core so it's attached to fronts and gets its energy from temp differences and lifts from the gradient in the atmosphere. not tropical.

91 L has options but north really is not one of them. A big high-pressure ridge will keep this south. "if" this can get going it could slow and move toward the Yucatan, then we would need to see if a front could grab it but things would have to time out perfect for that.
