Born free in 1829 New Orleans, violin prodigy Edmond Dédé faced racial barriers that blocked his path. 🎻 Despite composing operas & symphonies, he had to flee to France to find a stage. His music, though still hard to access, deserves to be heard. #EdmondDédé #BlackComposers
