We celebrated longtime manager Larry Goodwin and his 40th birthday prior to the game. Larry has been with the boys basketball program for 26 years!!!
The team responded with a 76-52 win over Steubenville. Cole Wilkinson 18 pts, Brett Phillips 17 pts, and Aiden Davis 15 pts.

We would like to thank these 3 seniors - Travis, Xavier, and Alex for all of their effort over the years. They guided the team to an 18-6 record this past year, a regional title, and a state tourney berth. They combined to average 50.8 points per game in 2019-20! Best of luck!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Jimmy Paige. Jimmy was a First Team All-State basketball player in 1978 for the Patriots. He then became a star student-athlete at Bethany College. Jimmy was a tremendous leader in our community and state. He will be missed.

Congratulations to Rafael Cruz who will be inducted into the OVAC Hall of Fame! He was the 1997 WV Player of the Year and helped lead us to the 1995 AAA state championship.
Rafael scored 1,306 career points at WPHS and played his college ball at UMass and Youngstown State.
