"Do you support deporting fentanyl dealers who sell in SF and are in the US unlawfully?" For an upcoming story, I asked each supervisor this simple yes or no question. Connie Chan, @JackieFielder_ @DannySauter Shamann Walton @scsherrill Myrna Melgar @bilalmahmood Chyanne Chen chose not to answer. Deeply disappointing.

This will allow more grants to researchers and not just $ pocketed by wealthy academic medical systems
NIH just made a drastic change to indirect cost rates, reducing the rate to 15%, a significant cut from the 60%+ some institutions charge. This will have a devastating effect on the nation’s medical research infrastructure. @ResearchAmerica @AAMC @YaleMed
