8/22 Update: OPEN! SR 20/North Cascades Hwy is now open btwn MP 148-157. Wildfire operations closed the road on Aug. 4 for & it was forced to remain closed after a mudslide on Aug. 11. We'll have pilot car operations while Fire crews continue working in the area of the Easy Fire.

All lanes on northbound I-5 at N Lake Samish (MP 246) in Bellingham are blocked for a collision. Incident Response and State Patrol are at the scene. Vehicles are able to exit off at N Lake Samish (exit 246). Traffic backup is over 3 miles. Expect delays in the area.

WHATCOM CO📢 And we're back from 8PM-6AM, tonight, 7/30 and again 8/1 the SB I-5 off-ramp to Slater Rd will fully close for intersection improvements. 8PM-6AM, 7/31, Slater on-ramp to SB I-5 will fully close. 🚚2,000 tons of dirt was already placed with more dirt to come tonight!
