Have you ever considered how much Math knowledge is required to build a picnic table from scratch? These students found out firsthand. This table is completely made by hand; no power tools were used. It was a great workout, for both the body and mind! #deeplearning @NLESDCA

We had such outstanding support for our Walk for Breakfast! Our tiny school raised $2381.70!!! Such an amazing community effort and we are beyond grateful to now provide nutritious breakfasts all year!! #kidseatsmart #nlesd

Today our 6-9 class led a mock trial before a jury (k-4, 10-12). Students were assigned roles as lawyers, witnesses, court officer, and judge. It was a fantastic showcase of their writing and speaking skills and they all did so well staying in character! @NLESDCA

Our K-4 class practiced some sewing skills this week. They followed all the steps in the design process to create a personalized pillow- cutting, appliqué, using the sewing machine (threading the needle too!), stuffing it, and blanket-stitching it closed! @brilliant_labs @NLESDCA
