Our Head of Regional Development, Ian Brannigan along with Regional Development Executive, Teresa Hooks, were thrilled to represent the WDC at the recent 2-day Association of Irish Regions conference in Athlone. Great to see Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Peter Burke acknowledge the essential work of the regions. The key takeaway: We can be more innovative and better placed to implement transformational change in the Western Region when we work in partnership with our local, regional, national and European partners. As the saying goes: together, better. ๐ค๐ช @NWAssembly @EMRAssembly @SouthernAssembl @IrishRegions_EU
