Last Friday, Omaha Firefighter Joe Mahacek came to speak to our students about what his daily life is like and the sacrifices firefighters make every day. Great message for our students and staff. We appreciate his willingness to share his story. @OmahaFireDept

Monday night we thanked our Westside Board of Education for their hard work and dedication to students. Colton and Caroline came to deliver a special gift to Mr Yale.

One School, One Book Update: This morning students came to our library to hear Mrs Wade read part of The One and Only Ivan. The library is open every Tuesday/Thursday morning at 8am for students to come listen to the previous night’s reading!
