@Nathan42900055 @RUFC_Tiny and we've had loads of seasons above plymouth getting similar gates AND more telly money. as a club we have failed to invest and are being left behind

@Nathan42900055 @RUFC_Tiny from punters going through the door yes. telly money creates a much bigger difference. we would have had a higher t/o than most L1 clubs last season, even if they had 20k gates

@kingbush007 We're the sporting wing of a lighting company. do not expect anyone to have a clue. i think you can expect them to try their best, thats the bare minimum. when they don't do that I have an issue.

@Nathan42900055 @RUFC_Tiny thats profit remember - pies, shirts, beer, staff, stewards, police all cost a lot. and them you get the tuesday night games v side from miles away - maybe at Chelsea not at Plymouth or Rotherham

@Nathan42900055 @RUFC_Tiny even at 6m that involves everyone paying over£50 each per game. for an adult having 2 pints and a pie thats not a wild stretch. but thats a hell of a lot of fruit shoots and harribos for his 2 kids who get tickets for a fiver. matchday gates aren't the main source of cash now

@Nathan42900055 @RUFC_Tiny remember concession tickets can bring the overall average price down quickly, and that all ticket sales include VAT and are subject to an EFL levy. i reckon each 1000 over 23 games brings in approx £300k then theres increase in policing and stewarding costs

@SoulsDisparate @Callum__RUFC @Kieee_7 we recruited terribly this summer. threw big wages and 2 year contracts at lads unlikely to get to Xmas without breaking down. Kelly, Raggett, JCH , Rafferty will all be here next season too. it shifted the narrative from Colonel Sanders and his sabatical though so TS approved.

@StandUnited1889 @KettsUK @ThePinchNews was just going to put Rotherham had safe standing forced onto them (away end) as they couldn't steward the seated away end safely.

@The_RUFC on the contrary, i have had some brilliant times watching RUFC - Carlisle 96, Hartlepool 2000, Alan lee, hillsborough loads of times. big steves trousers at wembley and wigan 2 seasons ago. i just want the best for my club. like you do. problem is it needs change to get there

@The_RUFC we treat supporters with contempt, NYS is dirty, we've birds nests, spelling mistakes on kiosks, away fans taking the piss out of burnt burgers. There's no enthusiasm now, every email reads like a vikki pollard sketch, its all penny pinching and doing stuff half arsed.

@The_RUFC i absolutely don't. i want him to run the club properly. its just a toy, a status symbol and i get that, but make the decisions based on what is right for the club. He actually used to. he talked about doing things "incrementally". but thats all gone now. he's bored with his toy

@The_RUFC but ffp means these folks with wealth (and Tone must be worth 9 figures) can't just plough endless cash in. plymouth average about 2000 more than us over the past 10 years. we've had our time in the sun, tony's played chairman in the bar at RGC and we've nowt to show for it.

@rowling26 cutting costs behind the scenes will inevitably show itself eventually. Got to look after the players, got to look after the supporters. everyone appears to be an inconvenience at the minute - don't go in the shop on matchdays, don't bring cash, we're just a nuisance to ASD

@The_RUFC Tony Stewart is a multi-millionaire though? And FFP is there aswell to prevent teams going nuts There are clubs who have turned over similar money to us who are looking healthier. plymouth, oxford, stockport, orient, wycombe all appear to have better futures than us

@The_RUFC not sure what you are showing me backs up any of that. if you're on about net profit/loss that is one very specific measure. as i said our t/o halved this year. not a sign of financial stability. and transfer income that has helped for so long is now set to 0 for a long time

@The_RUFC i'll take one. "best finances amongst our competitors." who are our competitors? have they just overseen a 50% drop in turnover that corresponds to their chairman clearing off because he"fell out with it"?
