Electronic equipment put in a bin bag caused a fire on one of our waste vehicles in Princetown this week. Electronics should be disposed of at a household recycling centre. Small household batteries should be placed in Recycling Box #2 in a small clear tied bag.

Due to snow and inclement weather in and around Princetown, our waste crews are unable to complete all waste collections today. We'll prioritise coming back to collect your black bag refuse, but if we are unable to come back for recycling, we will collect it the following week.

Are you taking down decorations and cards after Christmas? You can recycle cards with no glitter, stuck on bits or shiny bits - but you can't recycle glittery cards, cards with shiny bits or stuck on decorations. You can also save old cards to reuse them as gift tags next year.
