I can't speak for Rotary, but this seems to be an old agreement with Parliament.
During Rt. Hon. Kadaga's tenure, Parliament 'agreed' to an automatic deduction of ≈1m from each MP for the cancer run program.
The Parliament is a huge sponsor of the cancer run not the Speaker.
Speaker will continue to donate. Nsambya hospital is not in Teso. Parliament will intervene in cases like this and many more. We are glad the Cancer Unit in Nsambya will serve all Ugandans.
