@JamesWasTaken2 @BuffyHDBluRay @12lightyears @whedonesque Obviously there's no way Whedon can return, but some of the other writers could make a comeback. And whilst the show sounds like it will have new characters, Buffy and other OG characters will be "recurring," at least.

@SravanNBA I've been told it's much heavier on the Romance side of things versus the Fantasy, so not entirely my bag (romance is fine in smaller doses), but given its huge profile I feel professionally I should maybe take a look.

@jimscard @Corbomite14 @mark_amorosi It's not hard, but labour-intensive, so expensive (for TNG it took around $20 million to redo all 178 episodes).

@Corbomite14 @mark_amorosi Both DS9 and Voyager were shot on film and mastered on video, exactly like TNG. DS9 has the strength that it was also mostly model shots until the last two seasons, with only a limited number of CGI shots that need to be redone. Voyager has much more CGI from much earlier on.
