3D had a whale of a time reenacting the Epic of Gilgamesh. One of histories oldest stories with the fabulous monster Humbaba! Grrrr!

2F children have now been introduced to using the column method alongside various other representations. They all showed great confidence and understanding when using their @voice21oracy to explain their methods. @NCETM @mathsnoproblem @MathsMastery 😍

Year 4 had the best time watching The Little Mermaid at the Alexandra Theatre today. All of the children's smiles were beaming the whole time

Super proud of our Year 5 and 4 football team who finished second in the Aston 6 a side competition tonight. They won all their league games and were narrowly beaten by an excellent side in the final.

A huge THANK YOU to Mrs Leach from 3A. The children really enjoyed their time in the library with her today! They loved choosing new books and listening to Mrs Leach's hilarious story entilted '10 delicious teachers'- although staff felt quite endangered...🫣👩🏻🏫

4M loved their library slot with Mrs Leach today and are so impressed with the range of books we have to choose from. We especially loved listening to “Ten Delicious Teachers” and enjoyed the rhymes and joining in!

Y5 were treated to some Bach in their music lesson this week by @nevins_hannah. They listened to it three ways and were asked which version they preferred - brass band, orchestra or the spooky organ it was written for! @SFE_Tweets
