@Shpeshal_Nick @Nick_Marseil But really, shipments for PS2 could already be math'd out to ~159M and that was assuming best case scenario for PS3. They were still shipping millions every quarter in 2012.

@RGamerB_ My sell through would look something like: 2020: ~3M 2021: ~8.7M 2022: ~9M 2023: ~8M 2024: ~5.3M Total: ~34M

@The_CrapGamer @Gametrailzers Xbox Series was doing far better early on than currently. People generally underestimate that early part of XBS.

@The_CrapGamer @Gametrailzers 21M was end of March. June was when it was first publicly known. Ampere also saw 21.1M Xbox in March 2023, all of that is sold to consumers, not shipments. But either way, Xbox since then has sold well over 10M more.

@RGamerB_ I have 35.9M shipped end of December IDG has sold through >30M end of November I personally have sold through closer to 34M end of December. Omdia has it at 32.5M end of December.

@RGamerB_ I made a thread about this a few days ago. One firm I know has 2021 at 1M higher than ~7.5M but even still that year is under tracked by a lot.
Going to put this out there for future use, I've always maintained sell through trackers underestimate Xbox Series and I think most of them underestimate 2021 specifically We know the first few quarters of XBS shipments, went over that in my video and the proof is MS themselves

@RGamerB_ And this is where I'll tell you literally every analytics firm that tracks console sales has Xbox above 30M in 2024. Literally any number above 100M fits. If the total is 107M, that lines up with AMD's "surpassing 100M" statement.

@RGamerB_ No, around 2M or less. IDG number doesn't include December and they estimate Xbox lower than other sell through firms like Ampere or Omdia.

@RGamerB_ Take Two knows what the firm they hire tells them. That's why they are used as a source. They wouldn't use IDG if they had more accurate numbers, or they wouldn't reveal them at all. You continue to conflate sold to consumers and shipments.
