Citizens of some countries (e.g. the USA, Japan, Israel, Mexico, South Korea) may enter Poland again under the visa-free regime without the need for remembering about the 180-day limit, pursuant to bilateral agreements regulating visa-free regime, concluded by Poland with the countries before Poland's accession to the EU. It only works for 4-5 entries before they start asking for your residency permit. So you could "live" in Poland for 1 year to test it out without a visa.

@imidaily Correct, it only applies to foreign earned income and if you live in Poland and you are responsible for your income, then your income comes from Poland.
