SHA256 is 64 rounds. Learning how to generate practical collisions in the first 31 rounds is awesome, in a scientific sense, but completely useless in a “break SHA256” sense.
But you should still switch to BLAKE3 anyway because it is a zillion times faster and it’s more secure.
