Throughout his political career, John Horgan was a friend to construction workers and a true champion of working people. To honour his memory, BC Building Trades unions are donating $45,000 to cancer research and care in B.C. That’s $1 for every member.

Today we remember the 39 construction workers who died in BC according to the latest death toll. We honour the four men who died at the Bentall IV disaster on Jan. 7, 1981. Gunther Couvreux, Brian Stevenson, Donald Davis and Yrjo Mitrunen should’ve come home safely that day.
