@usaspending incorrectly lists Sinclair as affiliated with Politico. To be clear—Sinclair has never owned, worked with, or had any connection to Politico. In 2014, we acquired broadcast assets from Allbritton Communications, but Politico remained with the Allbritton family. At Sinclair, we take investigative journalism seriously, exposing government waste and holding officials accountable at all levels. We support transparency and look forward to @doge continuing to shine a light on where taxpayer money is really going.
