In 2020, Sgt. Bennet had a heart attack post-shift, prompting his retirement due to stress. He skipped counseling to ease family finances. Jail Director Jerry Collins identified this need, initiating no-cost, twice-weekly counseling sessions for staff and retirees. 💙

Our SORT team plays an intricate role in complete community safety. It is our duty to make sure that every person within our facility remains safe & this is done by the brave men & women who are called upon to move inmates & safely remove contraband from people or their cells.

in 2002. As an Officer, he enjoyed working in various areas of the facility. Capt. Jaggers was a member of SORT for 13 years, spent some time on CIT, was promoted to Sergeant in 2012, and then Lieutenant in 2019.
