Please take time now to talk to your children and young people about the dangers of frozen lakes and water and why it’s important for them to stay away from icy ponds, lakes and bodies of water. Playing on the ice can cost lives!

With temperatures dropping, there’s a risk that surface water on flooded roads may freeze, creating hazardous driving conditions. Where roads remain flooded our gritters may not be able to get through. So please take extra care when driving today. #Staysafe #WinterWeather
