To many soccer programs telling the players they are the greatest thing out there. The blue collar mentality was what has pulled us through in the past with half the talent. We have drifted from that and became soft!!
Congratulations to Andrew Pickhardt and his commitment to play at the College of Charleston next year. Picking up not only a great player but a great leader
One of the greatest men you could ever have the pleasure of knowing. He will be greatly missed for far more than just being our AD but more for the person he showed us we should be.
🙏A tremendous loss; an even bigger legacy... our friend & former SCHSL Executive Committee Member Bob Hayes will be missed by all who knew him. What a privilege to have known such a pillar of the community and supporter of the whole student. RIP

I couldn’t be more proud of the boys not just their effort tonight but the way they became a family this year. Losing a game isn’t the difficult thing it’s walking out of the locker room knowing it’s the last time with so many great people. We will be back next year!! GO WANDO
A sad dose of reality when team snap reminds me I’m supposed to have a game in 30 minutes. This is why you don’t take for granted any time you have to be with your teammates.
Excited to be selected as a coach for the
@ClashofNCSC
this year for South Carolina. Very soon we will start putting the pieces together to try to compete with an always solid NC side. It’s amazing what
@schssca
and so many coaches do for the HS soccer community!!
GO WANDO!! These boys created their own identity after losing so many players from the previous year. New challenges are ahead! New Goals to reach for 2020!!
Saturday we host Pope HS in a double header boys kickoff at 1:00. This game will be dedicated to Dave Clark. Mr. Clark was heavily involved in the Wando program 2010-2013. He passed away this summer. He was an amazing Husband, Father, Manager and person.He will not be forgotten
Like Father, Like son.
@WandoSoccer
star Evan Posnanski follows in footsteps of his father Jamie Posnanski and signs "Academy" contract with
@Chas_Battery
.
Here is the playoff brackets!! Our first playoff game vs.
@IrmoBoysSoccer
. One of the oldest rivals in SC soccer. Kickoff is at 6:30 Wando Stadium on Tuesday. Spread the word so we can get a crowd!!
You can’t base success on how many championships you’ve won. Coach Noonan is one of the most successful coaches to come out of Wando by way of developing fine young men who contribute to society. That is Success!!
Your Wando Warriors will be awarded 'The Team of the Year' by the Post and Courier tomorrow night @ Alhambra Hall. What an Honor! Clemson's Ben Boulware will be the inspirational speaker. Should be a great night!
Honored to be placed at the top of preseason boys 5A rankings!! All teams 0-0 right now though and all that matters is where you end. Most talented senior class across the state maybe ever! “Entitled to Nothing, Earned Everything” GO WANDO!!
Warriors had an action packed 'Senior Night'.

Congratulations to Jonah Miller for being one of the spring’s 🌟STAR🌟 Athletes. He’s been representing Varsity Boys Soccer by being a great role model on and off the field!
5 Wando soccer players started in tonight’s match UNC-G vs Wofford. So proud of all of them. Milligan with an amazing save from Aversano header with no time left. Each one was making an impact!!
Congratulations to Charlie Marino “2017 5A Player of the Year” in committing to C of C, Alex Holloman in committing to Mercer and Carter Jefferies in committing to Winthrop today. Much deserved and very proud to have you represent the Wando program!! More to come!!
Just a reminder that preparing to defend your championship doesn’t start in February. It should have already started!! There are zero roster spots filled for 2020. Want to be a part? Better be doing your part!!
Great 3-0 win in a very well run Rotary Classic over the Bishops today with contributions from all. Goals by Owen Hamilton,Alex Hollomon and Trevor Leithauser!! Next scrimmages a week from today vs Riverbluff and Lexington. GO WANDO!!!
