You get $50,000 for every jellybean you eat. There are 1,000 jellybeans, but 10 are fatal. How many are you eating?

Concerts were so much better when singers didn't use pre-recorded vocals. Case in point:

On this day in 2018 the great singer of The Cranberries Dolores O'Riordan passed away. In her honor, here is one of her greatest performances. "Zombie" in 1999.

@uncle_sanch @Manhattva Totally agree. But this show pigeonholed people into good/bad depending on their group. Native American = Good, Military = Good, Religious = Bad, French = Bad, etc., which makes for shallow storytelling.

@Manhattva @Spencer_J73 My favorite part was the woman who was unhappy with her life married to a kind religious husband but found happiness and meaning as a Shoshone slave and then lecture-shamed the top Shoshone warrior into seeing things her way.

@uncle_sanch @Manhattva It was saturated with tropes, had a non-stop low-key music backtrack to try to keep a feeling of tension, the shaky-camera effect was used to the extreme, and it was incredibly predictable. Every religious person was portrayed as stupid, crazy, evil, or all three.
