As an old Navy vet I will guess the 2 missile strikes killed, maimed and trapped many of crew. The damage to the ship would have been huge thus few likely got off before she foundered, rolled and sunk. Huge loss of face for Putin's navy.

To be fair, German Shepherds are known as fear-biters. They are very intelligent and very intuitive, thus the lack of trust towards people of questionable intent. I love the breed for their personality and their loyalty. As a Navy dog handler I always trusted my dog and still do.

I was a Primary Urinalysis Coordinator as an E6 in the Navy. As such my assistants had to go with the candidate to make sure the fluid was actually from the body of the candidate. As Primary I was in charge of all of the administrative functions typically not an officer level job

As a Navy dog handler in the late 80's early 90's at the Naval Submarine Base Bangor WA my dog Bas was a rarity in that he was a "straight stick" patrol dog ie; he only was an attack dog. We would post at main gate and laugh at the cars that did uturns when they saw us.
