Main character Caim is the prince of #Caerleon in 2003 game #Drakengard, a fictional country with the same name as a town in south #Wales. Caim also derives from the #Welsh male name Cai, which has meaning in being a protector or defender. #Cymru #Cymraeg #Nier

The #LaMulana games feature a couple of #Welsh references. In La-Mulana 1, the Water Leaper enemy is based on the mythical Welsh creature Llamhigyn y Dŵr. In La-Mulana 2, the land of Annwfn takes its name from the Welsh Otherworld, better known as Annwn. #Wales #Cymru #Cymraeg

@MabinogionGame Yeah, it’s a shame we rely on mods to get Wales in these games now. I was hoping Ara: History Untold with its abundance of leaders and nations would rep Wales, but it’s Boudicca again for the Celts as the closest thing.
