WHS Boy’s defeat Aledo 3-0 to win second straight 5A State Soccer Championship to go awith the Girl’s 5A championship. First time that’s happened since 1985. Be sure and stop at the Czech Stop and pick up your special edition Wakeland High School Orange kolaches.

Welcome Coach Anderson to WHS. World Geo/Coaching football and soccer. 9th yr. in Ed., Grad. of ECU, lettered in football. Grew up in DeSoto and graduated from DeSoto HS. His wonderful wife Robyn is also an FISD teacher. They have four kids, a girl (13) and three boys(11, 6, 5).

We are so proud of @hayden_partain and his lovely bride Madeleine. They are both Wakeland graduates and both exemplify the spirit of Wakeland. They are great athletes, but they are better people.
"To see her fight and get through all of it is remarkable." . For @hayden_partain, seeing his wife Madeleine walk down the aisle was all the more sweeter after her fight through a serious medical diagnosis.
