@BasedMikeLee The other thing is media giants all make a fortune selling movies in China, which requires permission from the CCP. Could it help to gain and keep that permission by having a little news org subsidiary behaving in a way that suits them? And maybe especially so during a merger?

@CortesSteve Totally agree & I think this is where the honest left will finally get on board. Pentagon is going to be the hardest. Need to go down to middle management and how the contracts are awarded, how the contractors are incentivized to do the worst job to maximize their profit etc.

@ninaturner This statement is true. And you are intellectually honest, so I know you also appreciate @DOGE is finding a lot of federal money funneled to elites, which instead could have gone to help working poor, elderly etc, or just not printed so that our currency wasn't debased by 20%.
