There have been six "controlled" grass fires, in Bremer County, that got out of control this afternoon. Use extreme caution if you are going to burn or just don't burn when the wind can spread the fire faster than you anticipate.

Little if any moisture in the forecast through next Sunday. The moisture that does show up is for next Saturday. At this point it is a rain/snow mixture. Still early for any details.

Lots of layers if you are going to be outside. Dangerous temps/wind chills tonight and Tuesday. Limit time outside if you can.
