Love birds? We do too. Its National Nest Box Week – time to get your garden or outdoor space friendly for nesting birds (and wildlife). We have been getting our bird, bat and dormice boxes repaired and ready for spring residents. Our blog on nest boxes:

Signs of spring: this primrose is flowering along the main path opposite Coastal Creek aviary. We've seen catkins and snowdrops as well and some buds on the daffodils. What wetland signs of spring in the plant world have you spotted?

While wandering our wetlands this week, take a moment to "Get Lost" in the lovely space that is the Reedbed Willow Sphere. Overlooking the reedbeds, in winter you can also see Arundel Castle. With mallards and gadwalls on the water its a peaceful spot in late afternoon.
