As the Romanian players kept losing, it looked less and less likely that we would get another Romanian in a final this week in Cluj but thanks to Jaqueline playing great in doubles we have one. Jaqueline Cristian and partner Angelica Moratelli are into the final!

Gabriela Ruse already hard at work for next week. Gabi is in Doha fighting in qualifying where she got a great win against Taylor Townsend. One more win and she is in the Doha main draw. Gabi faces Daria Saville in the qualifying final.

2 of the all time greats, one a player, the other a coach, announcing their retirements. Once a great team together, now can enjoy the rest of their lives how they wish. Hope Simona and Darren have great next chapters and maybe we see them having fun together again sometime soon.
