Investing in Kenya is taking a nosedive through taxes on bonds, which have been the safest and tax free instruments for investing. It's also not safe from currency depreciation and inflation. Apart from where we need to invest, we also need to think about beating depreciation, inflation and taxation... 🧵

You can't make someone "fall in love" with you; why is there an expectation of people, let alone countries to "fall in love" with Bitcoin? Bitcoin use can't be imposed or wished upon beyond someone's need/want/ incentive... Adoption is gradual & people have different needs +social interactions.

@LarryMadowo Probably revise the meaning of the middle class in Kenya... Real income growth needs to happen locally, otherwise a policy change like this threatening multiple jobs in/directly means that the so called middle class was a bubble.
