United Methodist bishop from Liberia opposes a vote to redefine marriage, holding his Bible above his head:
"This is the word of God...We have a majority General Conference characterized by liberals + progressives who are doing everything to change the Bible to something else."
A man warns the United Methodists they are breaking the tradition of the church to conform to "local traditions" by redefining marriage.
"In my country, Sierra Leone, we see graves of people who have given their lives to maintaining the tradition of the church."
Slight correction: Jerry Kulah is a UMC elder but not a bishop. I think when he says "bishop" he's addressing the moderator (i.e., "Bishop, Jerry Kulah her, from Liberia...")
DOPE PREACHER CLIPS: This guy understands the endgame of Intersectionality etc.
"If this child gets spanked or hollowed at too loud, he calls 911. You know why? Because the way they got all this set up, the parent has become the oppressor and a child has become the oppressed."
Is Ketanji Brown Jackson's elevation to the Supreme Court a Trojan horse for gender anarchy and pedophilia? This based brother preaching around the time of her confirmation hearings last year makes the case:
Todd Smith of Christ Fellowship Church in Dawsonville, GA identifies the process behind a lot of believers' compromises on queer sexuality: "Because they're nice and they're kind and they're gentle, you're thinking...'It must be okay. They're kinder than Christian people.'"
"Outside forces are acting on all people at all times throughout history in every culture on the planet to convince people that if they sacrifice their children, they will be happy and safe." -Tucker
Has any Big Eva speech in the past 20 years taken on abortion so prophetically?
Archaeologists think they've found the locations of Sodom and Gomorrah, and objects there appear to have gone through a "heat event" equivalent to an atomic bomb.
Florida pastor says he was a speaker at another church, whose leader told him to not mention the model nuclear family because his top givers are a lesbian couple.
"You're either going to be held hostage by society and by the new norms, or you're going to stand up for Jesus."
Florida Republican State Representative Barnaby just called trans people “demons and imps” and “mutants from another planet” while hearing an anti-trans bill on a committee. This sort of insane, bigoted and deeply ignorant person has no business being in elected office.
Love this illustration.
"People who walk their dogs, they don't walk up to the poop and...say, 'I'm gonna keep it.'...They don't wanna touch the poop. They don't wanna see the poop. They don't wanna smell the poop. They want it gone. Why don't we do the same thing with sin?"
Good guy speeches @ the CRCNA's 2023 synod:
Rafik, a Middle Eastern immigrant, calls out the silly claim of not knowing what "homosexual sex" means. Diagnoses libs in the denom with "blindness" and "hardening" of hearts.
"We're proud of the fact that we don't know anything."
"The gospel does not come to justify your lifestyle. The gospel comes to change your lifestyle!"

"There's no love without hate, and God's hate is supreme. God's hate is sovereign hate. Not emotional, human hate. He is perfect, he is pure, and he does not accept sin...God hates gay pride."

This is a strong expository sermon on Romans 13:11-14 from last August. Here's wider context on that moment:
"He says 'Put on the armor of light.' Why? Because there is a war going on...We shouldn't be complacent as our children are being indoctrinated and mutilated."
Wider context: the service did not diverge from normal liturgy, only alluding to the shooting where it was relevant to a particular element of worship. Chad Scruggs did not appear. A colleague preached from Luke 24, tying it to the creation of Narnia in The Magician's Nephew:
"I'm just telling you what I sense. The soul of America is lost and beyond repair...God owes America nothing. God will survive without America, but America is learning that it will not survive without God."
"Some of you teachers and administrators are committing criminal acts against children by encouraging them to harm themselves and to take...puberty blockers...Some of you need to be arrested thrown in jail."
Is this...prophetic witness?
"The city of Cumming...I put you on notice. You have been blessed with great favor and prosperity...Your county will become a cesspool of all types of debauchery and wickedness. And you'll look back 10 years later and wonder where it all went wrong."
"I completely understand the other side. I want to understand the other side. But drag queens twerking on kids in lingerie is unacceptable, and that's something that we have to notice as a culture."
Very charismatic church, not my school of theology. But Christians of all denominations should be united on these issues.
Earlier, preaching from Romans 1, Smith highlights: "God says I'm not only gonna deal with those that do it. I'm coming after those that approve it."
"I want you to pray that God would raise up a generation that realize that God is upset and judgment is going to come upon this country like never before if we don't repent. 62 million babies have been slaughtered since it started."
Another representative of Korean CRCs nails it: "Creating safe space for discussion and wandering may not be as pastoral as many of us think...We hear a lot of vocabulary such as 'hurt' and 'healing' and 'reconciliation'...Many of us see it as a sin and repentance framework."
Lazy people are not successful, bc lazy people want you to give me what I want. Give me a president, perhaps, that'll give me what I want. I will ride on what everybody else has given me. Give me, give me, give me. Who owes you anything?
Roy Smith, True-Lite Christian Fellowship
"Young people, stop the nonsense of trying to discover...who you are...'I need counseling.' He's called the Wonderful Counselor. 'I just need peace in my life. I'm in turmoil." He's called The Prince Of Peace. 'I don't have a male role model. I'm confused.' He's called Father."
A Korean delegate educates the synod on how widespread church discipline transformed his nation in the 1940s.
"Those who fervently opposed Shinto shrine worship and were willing to sacrifice their lives to uphold God's word...[fueled] the national renewal movement."
A member of the CRCNA's Consejo Latino, with his daughter translating, refutes a talking point from the subversives: "Giving more time is not going to change God's opinion of what he has already established."
"We need to get them to understand there is a foundation of truth...You keep living the life that you're living and you're going to go straight to Hell. You will experience Hell on earth and you will experience Hell after earth. There is a better way...The way is Jesus Christ."
"You hear this big megachurch say it...and it sounds like honey dripping off of their lips, and there's these allowances and condolences: 'We're sorry that the church has offended you and made you mad. We're weird people. Church people are weird. We're bigoted.'"
Cont'd: "Clothe yourself with the Lord Christ...Agree with what he agrees with...Are we imitating him in all things or are we putting on the world? Are we entering into the world's views and interests and letting them slowly seep into the church?"
"God bless the lady for achieving the heights, because it is an achievement. But I look at the agenda and how it's going to affect our children. Because you have to understand, there is a movement for the emancipation of children to be able to be married to adults."
"If you're in a perverse lifestyle, God will forgive you and receive you if you repent and turn to him. Don't let somebody fool you. Don't let somebody lie to you. Don't let somebody say something's okay, because it's not."

"63% of all communicators of the gospel in America
do not believe that the Bible is accurate in all of its teachings...Any document that is authoritative, they want to render powerless because it removes the obstacles and they can have freedom to do whatever they want."
Cont'd: "Any decision deviated from Synod 2022's decision will break the unity of the Korean church from the CRC...We would like to be part of a CRC that is true to God's word regardless of its size."
"Transgenderism, bisexuality, pansexuality, that's now the cool thing...You're not cool if you are straight, right? You have to be some exotic kind of thing. You have something else to be with the cool kids."
"As Christians, we should be woke. We should care about cultural things and injustice. But Christians, we should be woke to the love of God for our family in Christ. We should be woke to the light of the gospel. We should be woke to the fact of temptation in the world."
Speaker is Robert Barnett of Grace Bible Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN
"'We were poor...I was a premature baby. Tiny little baby that, no doubt, they wanted the baby to be killed. But I'm glad my mother said no."
"How many sermons have you heard about identity? 'Gotta find out who our identity is.'...That may be the problem. Self-discovery. 'We just want you to be you'...We do not have a proper perspective of who he is...so we will create a god in our own image."
Last week, the Church of England was called to repent by the Anglican Communion.
This week, it released a report, “Love Matters”, promoting fornication.

Nah, he started out by giving a pretty neutral definition, then contrasts it with the meaning of the Romans text: "This is a wake-up call to live in readiness because of the imminent return of Jesus."
"No person has a greater influence upon the culture than the pastor, and we've dropped the ball. We too have become woke, afraid...You never address the issue...and our silence gives [our congregations] the ability to be educated by outside means and voices."
Speaker is Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin of The Potter's House in Jacksonville. I saw a lot of sermons counter-signaling Pride Month this year, and this was one of the better ones.
"We cannot give into the culture. We can't bow down and start calling people by pronouns."
"This is what they're trying to teach 5-year-olds, 6-year-olds, 7-year-olds and 8-year-olds. Why? Because at that age they don't fully understand the concept of gender + sexuality...The alphabet people, I call them, they are recruited. They're not born."
Speaker is Pastor Curt Buckmire of Spirit + Truth Worship Center, Loganville, GA. (On this acct when I spot these little churches I try to make sure they're not Oneness Pentecostals or something. I don't think that's the case here but lmk)
"Our cell phones, iPads + computers have changed the game. They're definitely groundbreaking...great inventions. But at the same time they're the very tools that the enemy is using to deprogram + to reprogram the minds of people with what the Bible calls the doctrines of devils."
"We're raising a generation that is just discarding life. They didn't think anything wrong with abortion. They don't think anything wrong with it. That's a tragedy. That's a tragedy. And you must educate them."
"This week, take a look at that mob...They're trying to go to the Supreme Court judges' house to protest...They're so scared [for] Roe v. Wade...That's what they're crying and screaming about...Wouldn't it be wonderful? If we can do away with killing all these babies?"
"I give hope to the mother that has had an abortion. God's forgiven you. You're a child of God. You ask him to forgive you. You're saved. You're going to heaven. Sins, he don't remember them."
"You see in Chicago...young people who beat the elderly man to death with those orange street cones?...Where did they get that from? Adults that's been doing it all across the country and getting away with it. But when the policemen shoot one of their behinds, it's his fault."
Again, for context the "Neland Avenue CRC" that he mentions is a church in the denomination that ordained a deaconess who's "married" to another woman. According to this speaker, this white liberal-led church has completely ignored correction from international brethren.
What I appreciated most about this sermon is his repeated point that young people are being programmed by mass media on this topic and we need to educate them rather than follow them (the NAE conference I just clipped basically said that's what we need to do).
"I find myself running in the opposite direction of those who are running towards the cliff. Joe Biden may be president, but Joe Biden ain't God." (2/3)
"As the church, we have got to step up our game, because the world is getting worse, they're stepping up theirs...They're becoming more aggressive. We have to become more aggressive."
[snipped an aside at 0:28]
And then, the gospel: "We can't be so blinded by the sin of other people that we cannot see the harvest that has been promised to us...We were once the servants of sin, and we were lost ourselves...but God forgave us when we called out to him and repented of our sins." (3/3)
"[Chattel slavery is] some bad stuff, y'all. But did it happen to you? Do you have a greater opportunity than they did to succeed? So why are we using their excuse not to succeed in our time? Why don't we use their sufferings to make us successful?"
"People could riot, break into a building, steal everything in there, and say, 'I have a right to do it.' Why? 'Because of the way I was treated in the past.' You ain't never been a slave. Nobody ever had you in shackles."
