Western Oklahoma SF, Obi Okafor, makes it official and verbals to Drury University. The two year player averaged 13.3 ppg this year and 6.6 rpg while shooting 53.6% from the field. Okafor has also earned NJCAA 2nd team Academic All American last year and sports a 3.87 gpa.

Western men sign PG Darvin Petties from Northeast Academy. Petties averaged 16 ppg and 7.6 apg this past season and led Northeast Academy to a Regional title. The future Pioneer totaled 174 pts during playoff run and earned first team all conference.
