A huge thank you to Merope Mills who shared her story of her daughter, Martha, who sadly died from sepsis in 2021. She has introduced Martha’s rule, a scheme for families to request a second opinion during the care of their child - a fantastic way to advocate for patient safety.

Thank you to Alex, Jasmine and the adorable Evie, who shared their story about Evie’s daily nutritional care, the impact on their family life and how, as a paediatric team, can hep support families in very difficult times.
