Last weekend PD Tommy assisted @WMerciaPolice officers after the occupants of a stolen vehicle decamped. He indicated over an inaccessible high fence & upon arrival of @dronesWMP they confirmed an offender was hiding in the garden. 1 x in custody thanks to PD Tommy! 🧍‍♂️🏡 🐕

We supported #Opadvance in @westbromtown today. Whilst the drugs dogs searched, the puppies looked on to see what they'll be doing when they're older. Fantastic socialisation and environmental opportunity for the pups.

Thanks to the nose of PD Zade, three suspects for a serious assault in Walsall were arrested last night. He tracked from an abandoned vehicle taking @firearmsWMP officers to their location. Weapons used in the incident were found nearby. 🏃 🏃 🏃….. 🐕…. 👮‍♂️

Two of our dogs booked off duty for the last time as they enter retirement along with AD50 - PC Simpson. RPD Romeo (GP) & RPD Delph (Drugs/Cash/Firearms) have found countless offenders & evidence over the years with their tenacious & hard working handler. Happy retirement!

Last night in Birmingham a man was left seriously injured after a knife attack. PD Kelly tracked from where he was found for 30 minutes & took officers right to the crime scene. Inside they found the suspect, the weapons used in the attack and bloodied clothes. Top job Kelly!

@Trafficwmp locate a stolen vehicle when the driver tried to ram officers & made off over gardens. PD Uri in hot pursuit located the male hiding in a shed, the male tried to fight with PD Uri but you can guess how that turn out! One in custody for a string of offences! 🐾

Today a prolific shoplifter in Small Heath thought he would get away after threatening staff with scissors & smashing up the shop…that was before he met PD Phenex & handler AD24. After being detained by Phenex the suspect was arrested and taken into custody for questioning.

Last night in Birmingham a stolen car crashed while trying to get away from us. The driver tried to outrun PD Phenex but it was no surprise that he was unsuccessful. On the way back to the police car he then found the passenger hiding in a bin! 🏃…🐕…🚗…🚓
