My oldest daughter came out to us last school year. I have watched her struggle but I have also gotten to experience the joy of what a beautiful, open, empathetic human being she’s become. I love ALL that she is and always will.

I go in for surgery on Thursday this week. Surgery to remove my breast implants. Just getting right to it... to honor this point in my life where I’ve finally found the capability to be unfiltered, honest, and true to myself.

Learning guitar has been a life saver for her. No matter how she’s feeling, she can turn to music. So proud of the work she’s put in and so happy it’s given her such joy.

Sweet baby boy is in surgery now. It was a long morning with lots of daddy snuggles because he was hungry and just couldn’t understand 😢 I think that was the hardest part.
