Coach Auer has been honored with a nomination to coach in the 2023 McDonald’s All American Game. Heights Falcons Darnell Valentine (77’), Antoine Carr (79’), Aubrey Sherrod (81’) and Perry Ellis (12’) were McDonald’s All Americans.
Coach Auer enjoyed catching up with former Heights and KU All-American Perry Ellis. Perry just finished his 6th season as a professional basketball player.

Heights Hoops congratulates TJ Williams on his decision to attend Sunrise Academy next season. He leaves our program as a State Champion with multiple D-1 offers. We are very proud of his growth as a player and a person during his time as a Falcon.
The 2023 season ended on championship Saturday as 6A runner-up. Not the finish we wanted but our team left everything on the court. Incredible 2 years for our seniors. 45-5. Back to back state championship games and 1 state title. 2 mid season tournament titles and 1 GWAL title.
The team enjoyed meeting Mr P.J. Ellis today. We appreciate P.J. allowing his Dad a few moments to talk to the team. Great message from the all-time winningest player in City League history. Thank you Perry!

In Nov. we didn’t know if we were having a season. 68 practices with temp checks, COVID questions and masks. 22 games with a few fans and a socially distanced bench. Today we are playing a STATE TOURNAMENT GAME!! Priceless. So proud of the determination of our team. Go Falcons!
