-The pit is for the college kids. Be warned.
-If you go in the pit, pee beforehand.
If you want your sign on TV:
-look for overhead camera and find a spot under it.
-Have a tall pole so your arms don't get tired.

I know its a dark time, but I want to share a personal accomplishment. After 5 months, I finished writing a book today. Me. A teacher. An average Joe. A nobody. I'm sure there will be some rewrites and not sure when it will go to print, but the bulk is done. I wrote a book. 🙂

Al Shaver, the voice of the North Stars for 26 years and the Gophers for three, passed away after a brief illness Monday on Vancouver Island at the age of 96, his son, Wally, tells me. Al was married to his wonderful wife, Shirley, for 67 years until she died in 2019. They had 5
