1st XV to reach a National semi-final is a real credit to all players and coaches who have been involved in the process over the past decade. Thank you to all supporters, you were exemplary!!
Fantastic achievement today by 1st XV who have reached the semi-final of
@SchoolsCup
for the first time. A well deserved win over a very physical Wirral GS side 26-17 in difficult conditions. Boys have now won the North Division and will play the semi-final on Sat 9th March.

As school is set to close due to COVID-19. We will continue to support all students at home with weekly exercise and physical activity programmes. These will be uploaded on a Sunday and sent to students on Firefly and available on our social media platforms.

A huge thank you to all students, parents and staff for an extremely successful half term of sport. We have had over 350 students regularly attend after-school clubs and Saturday sport. I wish everyone a safe and enjoyable half term break.

The PE team said goodbye today to Mr Vernon after 8 years with the team who will be moving to Russia, and to Mr Jones who after 3 years is moving back to Wales. We would like to thank them for their commitment to WGS sport & wish both colleagues every success in the future.
