Very proud to have been returned as Chairman of the Amalgamation of Official Northern Ireland Supporters Clubs for another year. We had 49 of our Clubs represented tonight. Our Committee of volunteers attended 55 meetings throughout the year on behalf of the organisation 💚

Remembering our two fellow supporters and thinking of their families and friends as their respective anniversary approach in the coming week.
Today we remember fellow Northern Ireland fans, Darren Rodgers and 'Archie' Rainey who both passed away during Euro 2016.
Darren died after a fall in Nice in the early hours of 13th June and 'Archie' sadly passed away in the stadium during the Ukraine match at Lyon on June 16th.

One of the most enjoyable things I get to do through the Amalgamation is invite special guests to matches. Today, I visited Springfield Primary School to hand over tickets to Lewis Milne and his dad. Lewis has Nephropathic Cystinosis and Scoliosis. Enjoy the match, young man! 💚

What a servant for Northern Ireland Aaron Hughes has been. From his first appearance as a substitute in a B International in 1997, a full debut a year later and another 111 games after that. He deserved being part of that evening in Lyon. Thanks Aaron!

I attended the IFA Council meeting this evening, as AONISC rep. During the meeting, I raised the issue of ticket pricing, urging the IFA to set a realistic price for the Luxembourg friendly. With more than 5,000 empty seats at the Israel game in September, a rethink is needed.

Very sad to learn of the passing of Billy Bingham. I met Mr Bingham as a kid when NI trained at Mallusk in the early 90s. I was in awe. I met him again during 1958 anniversaries many years later. I remained in awe. 💚

At the Amalgamation's AGM this evening, Ian Church from North Coast NISC handed over a cheque for £4,500 to Colin Bell from the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust on our behalf. The charity has helped repatriate 651 people back to their loved ones. A good charity, worth supporting.

beating Spain. I was fortunate enough to be on the pitch before the match with Jim Rainey MBE as he was presented with the Brussels International Supporters Award on behalf of the fans. The noise as the teams walked out was absolutely deafening!

I tend to agree with Michael O'Neill. A hugely disappointing decision, especially when you contrast it with how the likes of Gareth McAuley and Steven Davis have prolonged their own careers. A rethink is needed!

This is one of our charitable initiatives. The Amalgamation purchased a number of Wheelchair access Campaign Cards for this campaign and invite our Clubs to nominate someone for each match. I also invite two guests to use the tickets we receive through our IFA Council membership.
Our other two guests on Thursday night were Kenneth Smyth from Macosquin, nominated by Londonderry NISC and also Daniel Elliott who was nominated by 1st Dromore NISC. They both enjoyed the win!
