Mr. Whitley, I am very unhappy that you chose to make fun of trans people in this article. As indirect as you may think your comment was, it was clear where your intentions lay. Such comments can be very hurtful.

@pat_dooley Can anybody tell me why Coach Sullivan did not use Tommy Mace to start the SEC semifinals. I believe that he had three full days of rest.

@JeffCardozoUF Also why was he so enamored with Jud Fabian, taking every opportunity to single him out for praise, often in games where other players performed better. I thought Jacob Young was more worthy of All-SEC than Fabian.

@JeffCardozoUF Jeff, I'd like to get your perspective on Coach Sullivan's strategy and decisions during the SEC tournament. Why did he refuse to use Tommy Mace in the semifinal game. If I remember correctly, he had three full days of rest.

@pat_dooley I was really glad to see Vandy get trashed by Mississippi State. NCState would have been a better opponent. Vandy benefitted by not having to play Saturday, when they would have had to use Leiter.

I would like to know the coach's thinking as to why, when the Gators were entering the semifinals of the conference tournament, he commented that "Mace and Barco are through for the tournament"? Mace had three full days rest entering the Friday game. Don't understand!

@pat_dooley Who replaced you and Robbie at the Gainesville Sun? Anybody? Shameful that there was no one covering the women's basketball game on Saturday afternoon. At least there was no article about it in Sunday's paper.

It is now the 4th week of classes at Ohio State. Is Mr. Wade registered for class?

@SteveRussell850 I have a recording (cassette) of the Brooklyn Dodgers/New York Giants game of 4/22/50, with Red Barber broadcasting. Might you like a copy, perhaps to use to provide "alternative" broadcasting during this sports hiatus that we are currently experiencing?

@SteveRussell850 Steve, I've enjoyed your broadcasting efforts since I first heard you back in the '70s, especially with respect to baseball.

@nytdavidbrooks Doesn't that make you suspicious that his current manipulations of the stock market with tariffs might also be allowing him/his family to make big profits from the resultant ups and downs of the stock market? Which he controls!

@nytdavidbrooks I'm sure that you remember how Donald Trump manipulated the stock market before he was president by buying up lots of stock of a company, threatening to take it over, and then after resultant rise in its stock price, selling his stock to make a big profit.

@nytdavidbrooks Upon reading this book, I was amazed by the parallels between the situation in 1861 and now with respect to severe political polarization and attitudes about immigration. Hope you will check it out.

@nytdavidbrooks David, I don't know whether you have read or even heard of the book "My Diary North & South", the diary of William Howard Russell, a correspondent from the London Times who visited the North and South during the first year of the Civil War
