How silly is it that the witnesses have to constantly remind congressional members that identity verification will save money? Of course it will save money. Lots of money. If Americans were allowed to walk into a Powerball payment office and self assert that they won the lottery, I dare say half of Americawould be lined up outside the Powerball offices.

If inspectors general are so effective, how is it that we are missing billions of data fields in our treasury department payment transactions? With such outstanding inspectors general, how is it that the United States is unable to say where it’s money went in billions of treasury transactions?

Impartiality among human beings doesn’t exist. The fact that inspector’s general are appointed by executives of one party or another immediately eviscerates in partiality. This is one of the benefits of data analytics under @DOGE . The computer doesn’t care who hired it to perform the analysis and identify waste, improper payments, etc. the computer simply identifies where these violations exist. Again, why are we fighting for inspector’s general that have repeatedly failed our government for more than a decade now?

Representative Lynch is arguing for $93 billion of savings that the inspector’s general allegedly identified. He does not specify the time. In which that savings would be realized. @DOGE identified more than $93 billion in savings in its first day of operation. And those savings can be realized in a single year. So representative Lynch is arguing for methods that are only a fraction of the efficiency that doge offers?

@DOGECommittee Representative Lynch’s version of democracy, the system that is the current democracy, is responsible for $37 trillion in national debt and a an annual deficit in excess of $1 trillion a year. That is the democracy that he is fighting for in this hearing.

@DOGECommittee Mr Hester-Gaudette is praising all the actions taken by his organization that are supposed to identify the kind of waste that we are seeing published by @DOGE. If those initiatives were working, why is the waste perpetuating?

Americans need to understand that the Trump administration did not fire inspectors General out of any kind of malice. The Trump administration replaced inspectors General with a data analytics solution. It should not surprise anyone to learn that data analytics can identify far more fraud, waste, and abuse than human inspectors general. After all, it was the same inspectors that failed to identify all the waste we are seeing in recent reporting.

The Democratic deputy chairperson led off by saying that Congress and past administrations have caused the debt problem. I imagine that both are responsible for fixing the debt problem, then. And if Congress will not fix the debt problem, then it falls to the president to deliver on that responsibility. It’s not hard to understand why things have come to ahead here.

The Democratic deputy chair is criticizing the dismissal of inspectors general. She just said that they are responsible for rooting out wasteful spending. Yet for decades now, the wasteful spending has only increased. So she is saying that the inspector‘s general we’re not doing their job.
