All Department of Licensing offices are closed Monday, Sept. 2, in observance of Labor Day. Offices normally open Tuesday-Saturday are closed Aug. 31. Have a safe holiday!

The Oroville driver licensing office, currently open the second and fourth Thursdays of the month, moves to the first and third Wednesdays starting Sept. 4.
The change provides better coverage with other area offices.
Hours are the same: 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Starting today Aug. 26, the Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL) will begin issuing an application for partial payment for ag producers or transporters of agricultural products who paid carbon fees related to the state’s cap and trade program on fuel purchases.

Even after new air travel ID rules take effect on May 7, 2025, children under 18 will not need identification to fly with an adult companion within the United States. The companion will need REAL ID-compliant ID, however.
