What we should really do is make it law that all public reps, members of the executive & their direct families must ONLY be permitted to use public services: public healthcare, kids must go to public schools, public transport etc...! ☺️ One country. One standard of services!
One country, one matric examination. In few weeks time all our matriculants will be in the same lecture rooms in the same varsity or college. Why are they still writing different matric exams as IEB or NSC is a matter that must be attended to. Everything is the same beside the

This Mandela auction is actually a perfect metaphor of what is being done to our country AT SCALE by the so-called "descendants" of the heroes of the struggle.
The good guys are gone.

After a year of hard work in communities across the length and breadth of Gauteng, building the trust of South Africans, the day has come for me as a representative of RISE Mzansi, to be sworn into the Gauteng Provincial Legislature.

Every single problem we have as a country is a function of poor, weak leadership. Poor leadership is contagious, it attracts others like it and multiplies at an exponential rate. As they say, the fish rots from the head.
People who've never actually built anything or have no ingenuity always overamplify the importance of funding and undervalue small beginnings. If you create something enough people want, the money will come
I am both humbled and honoured to represent the people of the province in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature. I do not take this responsibility lightly, and I will do my utmost to ensure that all residents of the province are seen and heard, and that services are delivered.
@andilentuli512
The children of ordinary citizens are subjected to the policy decisions championed and legislated by politicians. Why should their own children be exempt? Its a tacit "vote of no confidence" in their own governance
Soon after completing my undergraduate degree (over a decade ago) I came to the painful realization that a degree does not create employment and that despite being "educated" & endowed with the ability to write an essay & think critically, technically, I was actually unskilled..

Unpopular opinion:
Manifestos don't really matter.
Only leadership matters.
Having great policies with no capacity to implement is of no use to anyone🤷🏾

Don't know if it classifies as a speech but Juju's "Give us a signal Mama!" remains one of my best moments of South African political theatre 😂🤣
Happening now. Khayelitsha residents, mostly from informal settlements, came out in numbers to protest for basic services. Chief among the issues is the filth on the streets caused by the City of Cape Town’s failure to collect rubbish over the last few weeks.
South Africans are OBSESSED with politicians and political parties! OBSESSED! We blame them for everything that's wrong, we pin all our hopes on them to make everything right, we treat them like celebrities & demi-Gods, we depend on them to tell us what to think & how to feel...
This type of disinformation is extremely dangerous and anti-democratic. People are free to criticise and hold different views but the use of deep fakes and AI videos is completely unethical and should actually be illegal ESPECIALLY during elections.

I'm so upset about the Mauritius oil spill. The extent of irreparable damage to the coastline and natural ecology and by extension their economy, which is highly dependent on tourism💔💔💔 We actually need to just ban oil & fossil fuels & move to 100% clean energy.
