Djaoui Cissé impressive too, tidy on the ball, glided through pressure and/or through lines a couple of times, good defensive reads, duels and spreading balls wide and in behind. Next game vs Lille will be a cracking one if he faces one or both of Bouaddi/Mukau.

@YeKelaLij Doesn't defend enough for a Howe side, and if you don't defend you have to be Hazard/Cherki level of creative to compensate which he's not. Zhegrova has a good left foot to take shots and clip crosses.

@LFCSkyline I don't know. I'd say Olise is almost 100% flair and creativity to do stuff only a handful of players can imagine. Akliouche relies more on consistent decision making even if he has sparks of great creativity.

@olislfc Yeah Mbeumo's the other one I immediately think about for Newcastle. That's the signings they always make and that's why they rarely get it wrong. Doubt they'll keep Isak but if they do and sign a right winger to compete I'll be watching them week in and week out

Newcastle need more ability to play vs low blocks without bargaining on what they built in terms of hard-work, transitions, press... Akliouche fits the bill, plays off the right. Technically astute, great decision making, incisive carries... And works his socks off defensively.

Other Ligue 2 forwards I like (Kroupi and Tidiam Gomis aside) include Cyriaque Irie (Lens was reportedly interested) and Moussa Soumano. Bermont also interesting (Lens loanee) and Trévis Dago (Lille loanee). Also Kyliane Dong who played more last season and defo has something.
