The BRILLIANT Geoffrey Bayldon, acting the part of Catweazle. They don't make such excellent TV shows for kids any more, and you'd have to go a long, long way to find another actor who'd even get close to matching his stellar performance throughout.

It was inspired by the film The Blue Lamp,which caused uproar when released, due to young protagonist Dirk Bogarde, actually doing something never before seen on any British screen, TV or movie. He shot the genial local bobby, played by Jack Warner.

She was a proper human being in that sometimes she could come over rather, vulnerable, ordinary. Not here though. I once saw a shot of Cindy Crawford carrying her shopping home, next to no make up. Fully clothed, obviously. Struggling with shopping bags. She looked STUNNING.

Came on as a sub in the 75th minute, rose like a salmon to deftly nod home from the corner with her first touch. Injured in training on the Monday, went back to the USA, tail between her legs. Good goalscoring/appearance ratio though. Alice Cooper signed in 1980/81, did nothing!

The Shining. Worthing Cinema, within the first few weeks of its release. I watch it now for its construction, acting, direction, etc, but in 1980 the tension and occasional laugh out loud stuff was stretched very taut. Kubrick could direct any type of movie, including Horror.

There's one big difference (amongst many) between how the monies and the broke perceive money. For the record, I'm on the broke side. The monies hold their heads higher and so see further into the future.

I got to agree 100% with that. I'm a bachelor, almost sixty, I have zero interest in children. But this one really shone out when I glanced at her face yesterday. Having studied Psychology, I have NEVER seen a baby so well developed and hauntingly "wise". Those eyes, my goodness.
