@hua_chonker I guess other people will project everything to their favorite characters to relate. 🤷‍♂️ The only way I really relate to them is the outsider thing lmao that one I saw at the forefront and that was enough for me to have fun picking away at what makes them tick

@hua_chonker Yeah the way Ratio keeps on reframing himself as mundane feels almost like it's a jab unto himself. He owns it and it's not like something that kills him anymore but it also feels like a defense mechanism of sorts. He uses it so others can't use it against him 😭

@hua_chonker I was also friends with someone who was held to massive standards and there's a lot of that gifted kid syndrome in him that fucks with self-worth and stuff but since Ratio isn't a beautiful blond twink most people wanna project themselves onto it's not as widely cry-cried about

@hua_chonker There's always a sense of disbelief that they could do shit and would respond with encouragement in a way that it felt like they didn't believe it at first or you were saying it to mock them. Honestly it's so different. It's an entire leap

@hua_chonker That's just insecurity also, not self-esteem issues which are a bit deeper. He knows when to back off and to move on but that he even tried is like not a person with low self-esteem would even initiate...

@blakcsunO6O6 that's Ratio for sure! and the diminishment of his own massive achievements as "paltry" because none of them got them into GS, which I think he isn't so sore about at present but there's sure to be ghosts of those stuff in his psyche having a go at him every now and then

@hua_chonker I've seen people with low self-esteem struggle to complete tasks, fretting over the little details of everything and be so terrified of failure and unable to see they are capable of stuff only their faults lol... so far away from how Aven is depicted...
