Check out our newest publication led by @MatthewDeen4 and @1981zyp! Herein, we report a new and improved fluorescence-quenched substrate, LysoFQ-GBA, to quantitatively monitor GCase activity in stem-cell derived neurons and PBMCs.

Nice commentary on new CO2 protein carboxylation paper in NCB. This methods paper enables in vitro mimicry of CO2-protein carboxylation and high-throughput mapping of CO2-modified lysine residues. Inspired by pioneering work of @MartinCann1 and others.

@chembiokevin @J_A_C_S That noted. Data tables in SI enable exploration. The quadruplicate erPTM-TPP data is the most robust. If mining for data, suggest starting there and then going to the other data sets. Loosening the stringency would expand the scope but would need to be carefully done.

The destabilizing effects found using PTM-TPP for O-GlcNAc are likely mediated by influencing protein complexes. Nice team work with @jesus_esn and Yan as well as Christopher and M Shoulders (MIT) and L Foster (UBC). Hope the methods will be useful for exploring other PTMs.
