This pretty much sums it up. Kudos to @StevenACohen2 and Stearns for doing everything possible to make this happen. It wasn’t without effort.
Steve Cohen and the Mets did all they could possibly do to woo Yamamoto. Flew to Japan, hosted him for dinner and offered a monster contract. At the end of the day, that’s all you can ask for as a fan.
